**I am only crafting what I have in my garage as of 9/26/2013. That is an important fact to remember in the month of October.
Last month I went to an amazing garage sale. I went Friday morning, Friday afternoon and again on Saturday with my daughter. Several of the things I have crafted lately came from that garage sale.
We I walked into the kitchen and saw the graduated wire baskets I knew they had to be mine. As I got closer I was afraid that I would lose them to someone closer than I was. When I picked them up and saw that all three baskets where $2 I was so thrilled. Then they came home with me and sat in the garage until it was their turn to be repurposed.
I had seen so many inspirational tiered thingys on Pinterest lately. These were a few that inspired me.
Both can be found on my Pinterest board: http://www.pinterest.com/creative5426/pinterest-made-me-do-it/
I started with three baskets and some leftover spindle parts.
Everything was primed and I found some knobs to use as finials. I found a small wood plaque to serve as a base. You will notice two paint cans in this picture. Orange and red were my first two choices. I did not use either. I had some spray paint left over from a craft weekend with craftdictator.blogspot.com and used it because it was quicker.
I used double sided screws and glue to put it all together.
I used the third basket to make a small elevated container. I think I am going to use it to store hair clips in my bathroom.
